Deb’s relationship with design began early — at drafting tables and easels — shaped by a childhood immersed in both technical problem-solving and fine art. That dual foundation continues to inform her work today.

She earned her Bachelor of Science in Design from the University of Cincinnati’s DAAP program and began her career at Walt Disney Imagineering, where she developed a rigorous approach to spatial storytelling, concept development, and execution at the highest level.

Deb’s professional experience spans high-end residential, hospitality, and mixed-use projects throughout Southern California. As a former lead designer and project manager at a boutique Los Angeles interior design firm, she brings comprehensive expertise across all phases of design — from concept development and construction documentation to sourcing, procurement, and installation.

Studio DDK was founded with a focus on bespoke residential and boutique hospitality design. The studio thrives on the complexity of residential transformation — carefully assembling each element to create homes that are both highly personal and thoughtfully refined.

Outside the studio, Deb draws inspiration from travel, filmmaking, and nature. She regularly spends time in Southern France, finding inspiration in the enduring architecture, memorizing the Mediterranean hues, and improving her French.
